I am looking to rent a property as soon as possible. I work full time, I have a 16 year old son who has a mental health support dog. I also have my 18 year old half brother living with us due to needing support. He receives PIP which covers his expenses to live with us so his needs are met. He is of sound mind, I am aware because of his age he will have to be on my tenancy. This is no problem, i have a guarantee who earns above the required income. My landlord is an investor and requires his property back for renovations. I was served a section 21, my eviction date was September 18th. He has not put me on the street as he understands the struggle of finding someone to rent from. I am packed and ready to move as soon as possible. Until 2 years ago, I was legally named on a mortgage and liable for any missed payments. This is a property i have not lived in for 14 years. My ex partner and his family live in the property. During COVID I received a notice, the beginning steps of repossession had started a court date was set. He paid all his outstanding payments but, because of this any finance company i was using to help me spread costs, revoked my use of them and required complete payment due to being re credit checked. My credit score has been affected badly, i am working hard to change this, it just takes time.
